Teenagers and kids these days have their own lingo and we often here them use the term “basic”. Internetslang.com describes the word “BASIC” as “Uncool, boring”….like “basic” frappuccinos from the “basic” coffee shops, “basic” songs from the radio and even “basic” social media selfies and filters. Our youth don’t really want to be “basic” but we’re here to tell them that “basic” isn’t always bad.
